  Sgt Michael Roy Pierce

This page is dedicated to Michael Roy Pierce son of   Clay Pierce. Michael was in the 82nd airborne divison in the U.S Army.As a young 21 year old man Michael  married his childhood sweetheart Heather Stewart then three years later they celebrated the birth of their first child Michael Stewart Pierce on March 19th 1998.

He had everything going for him in his family life and career when the Lord decided to call Michael home so unexpectedly.Michael passed away very suddenly in May 1998,five weeks later Clay lost his wife of thirty years to cancer.As you can imagine the turmoil of losing them both especially with Michael being so young and fit was devastating.

In the video above you will hear the song Clay wrote for Michael and I am sure you will agree if you have ever lost  a loved one, this song depicts the sorrow and understanding that we never want to forget them.Every memory is a jewel in the heart.It is through the music both Clay and myself have been able to  tell the world about these two very special angels of ours.Music somehow reveals the depth of the soul.Clay often talks of Michaels sense of humour and the funny things that he used to get up to with his sister Robin and two brothers Will and Richie.Listening to the stories and sharing the same about Anna we realize in nature they were very much alike,fun loving caring and two beautiful individuals.

Clay and I met through Michaels song before Anna died, so for me personally Michael is very much an angel watching over both of us.I believe Michaels death paved the way for all the healing i was going to gain from Clay. Sometimes it hard to understand why such sad times hit our lives until the years have rolled by.

After many years of searching and praying  just two days before Michaels 11th Anniversary we are so excited to finally have contact with Michael's best childhood friend Cory Pina.
